The system provides seamless connectivity between Asia, Africa, and Europe, leveraging the strategic geographic locations of Egypt and Jordan alongside Telecom Egypt’s extensive infrastructure.
Qudah highlighted that both nations agreed to raise their electrical interconnection capacity to 2,000 megawatts, while also advancing regional energy integration under the tripartite cooperation framework with Iraq.
The signed documents cover a range of sectors, including the activation of an MoU between the two countries’ ministries of endowments, cooperation in investment and free zones, consumer protection.
The discussions took place on the sidelines of the Joint Higher Committee meetings, co-chaired by the prime ministers of both countries.
